Tia Lynn Johnson has spent more than 23 years turning travel into something personal. Her career has carried her through some of the most demanding corners of the industry: servicing VIP clients at American Express and Reed & Mackay, managing the precision and discretion of government travel, and caring for travelers whose time and trust could never be taken for granted. Along the way she learned that the details are never really about logistics. They are about people, and about protecting the moments that matter most to them. Today she is the founder of The Blue Byrd Travel Co. and the host of The Blue Byrd Connection podcast. She is also the co-founder of Three Little Byrds Boutique and serves as President of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Inland Empire, for 2026 and 2027, championing women who build businesses of their own. At the heart of it all, she is a mom to three remarkable young ladies and Mimi to two grandbabies, her grandson Kaazhari and her granddaughter Kaaliyah. They are her constant reminder that travel, at its best, always brings you home to yourself. Blue Byrd was born from that belief. Tia set out to create a place where travel advisors could gather, learn from one another, and grow together, and where anyone curious about a career in travel could finally find somewhere to begin.
